Meet Colin...He Needs You
Tuesday, December 2, 2008
I ventured out to the annual Bazaar Bizarre in San Francisco, held at the SF County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park. I always find random goods there. This year's gem is none other than Colin!
Boys and girls meet Colin. You might think him a slacker with his glazed over expression, snug red hoodie and mad video game skills but Colin constantly frets about his future. We love him. He needs you.
doesn't that just melt your heart? sadly i left without him =(
You can purchase him for $39.99 (not bad considering the good amount of weight he has on him) @ mahardrygoods.com
Other honorable mentions...
Paper with holes never looked cooler. Purchase these guys at www.magnote.com/
Who doesn't love fake moustaches (@ www.nifnaks.com/)?! With that said, there will be a future FAKE MOUSTACHE CRAZY BOWTIE Disneyland Day...Watch for it. Spring 2009. Anticipate.
Oh and I did buy something this year. I'm no cheapass.
I bought this amazing book called Doodles & Noodles from awesome uber talented artist, Martin Hsu! It's a book of his sketches from previous years so I thought it was worth my penny. I get lots of eyecandy for only $20! WOOT!
plus he gets points because he draws for nickelodeon AND disney!!
super cute!
Check out the rest of my pictures on flickr!

Love and Sandwich
Sunday, November 23, 2008
Love and Sandwich is and Etsy seller who creates cute fuzzy lovable creatures to carry around or wear on your ears if you'd like.
My personal favorite?
The Yetipus. Half Yeti, half octopus, 100% awesome
And with a cute little butt like this, what's not to love?
Pocket Yeti is also available if you don't like the burdens of having a full sized Yeti

JapanLA Lolita & Friends Tea Party @ Royal-T
Sunday, September 28, 2008
On August 3rd, JapanLA hosted a Lolita & Friends Tea Party at Royal/T. I think it was an amazing turn out. The caliber of lolitas in the LA area is pretty high, in my opinion, and a lot of it has to do with the fact that they tweak the style to fit them.

Hello Kitty likes Japanese Horror Punk Bands
So, Derrick, told me he found a Balzac x Hello Kitty phone charm online yesterday! When we were in Japan, we saw this collaboration at a Bearbrick Exhibition as a vinyl toy, but we couldn't buy it. But now it is available on t-shirts, pens, phonecharms, and mugs!
Oh, by the way, Balzac is a Japanese Horror Punk Rock Band, so that's why this is so awesome!
I found this stuff on ShockerWorldWide but they don't have the t-shirts yet, but you can order the phonecharms, pens, and mugs...super cute and random.
Oh, and you can go to the Balzac x Hello Kitty site to get ridiculous huge pictures of this stuff!
